One of Daddy’s Goodwill Outlet finds was a giant round vinyl raft for $8.   He wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with it, but it was in perfect condition.    It has become our “Bounce Bounce” as Bug calls it.  We can use it two ways.  The donut way with the hole in the middle open.   You place a child on her tummy on one side and have an adult spotter and then the other person sits on the opposite side and bounces.   The girls LOVE it.  They get to giggling and laughing so hard they fall off.   It’s a great workout for the adults too.  It works the stomach muscles as you push off to make the thing bounce.   If you turn the raft upside down with the hole part covered, it’s a great trampoline like bouncer.   They can’t get too much height (only an inch or two), but it’s fun just the same.    We figure we can use it as a mini pool as well.  Its tough enough that the dogs can’t destroy it very easily.

The only problem with the “Bounce Bounce” is that it’s so big that you can’t hide it very well and have to contend with constant requests to bounce.   I’ve tried to prop it up alongside the house, but then here’s a big red raft for all to see.

Goodwill Outlet - it’s a good thing.

(Of note, I haven’t had a chance to dumpster dive there for many weeks and I think I’m jonesing.  BUT, Daddy says I can’t go back until I’ve put away all the stuff from the move and I HAVE to get rid of a bunch of junk I already have.   He is just so mean!)
