Happy New Year!

I hope everyone made it safely into the new year!   I went to bed about 11 pm New Year’s Eve, Daddy and the girls went about 9.   We are lame, tired, old people now.   

So far this year has been good.   I’m trying to remain optimistic about it.   Littlest has decided she is going to pull up on everything, the hearth, a pant leg, couch, bookcase, you name it.  Luckily she can only pull herself up to her knees.   She gets pretty frustrated that’s as far as she can get.

(Okay, as soon as I said that, I turned around and she was pulling herself up on the hearth and was on her feet, giggling and so proud of herself - grrr!)

Bug has been so cute watching out for her and playing with her.  They have their moments, but for the most part they love playing together.   

Today we took the girls to Berrnie and Rollie’s Barbershop to get haircuts.  Littlest just got her bangs trimmed some and Bug got an all over trim.  Not the best haircut in the world, but it was only $10 for both of them and everyone was super nice.   Bug was such a good girl, no crying or being uncooperative.

 
I tried to sneak a picture of her hair and she turned and grinned at the exact right moment!  Thus the blurry picture.

Watching 101 Dalmatians instead of going to bed on time.

Oh great, now Littlest managed to pull herself completely up on the hearth - her entire body!   Boy was she mad when I took her off.  


She is not smiling in this picture, she’s mad at me still for taking her away from the fireplace and probably putting the hat on her while she was crying.  I’m such a mean momma!
