New favorite pastime

Littlest has a new favorite thing to do.  She will do it for what seems like hours.  The other night Daddy apparently had Cops on and I kept hearing Littlest blowing raspberries.  I looked over and she was watching the TV rolling back and forth grabbing her feet and blowing raspberries.  Happy as a clam!

Silly girl!

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to Bi-Zi Farms to the pumpkin patch.   We went last year with Bug to Sauvie Island, but she was so little, it was more for mom.  Also, it was cold and rainy.   It was chilly Saturday, but the sun was out.  We dressed the girls in their Carhartts and headed out.  The place was packed - we had to wait in line just to get in!

As you can see, Bug is excited about what is going to happen….

Okay, maybe not so much!

Littlest looks excited too…

In a grumpy, overdressed kinda way!

We all got our admission stamp.

The corn kernel pit was not a hit!

But the hay bale maze was!

Then it was on to the petting zoo area and her favorite part….

The chickens!!!  Yes, the chickens.  It was all about the chickens!

Goats are okay too.

Goat happy dance.

And then back to the chickens…

Jasper the donkey was fun too

Pigs…whatever!

Mom….I can’t move I’m so bundled.

I want to go back to the chickens…waaaaahh!

Daddy wanted to go through the corn maze.

Can you find Littlest in the wagon?

Overall we had a fun time.  We didn’t make it on the hayride to go out and get our pumpkins because we had the super-duper wagon and stroller and there wasn’t any safe place to leave it.  We love our wagon!  Bug seemed so disinterested in the beginning, but by the end she didn’t want to leave.  I don’t know how many times we went back to see the chickens.    It was fun to see all the little kids running around.  One little girl grabbed Bug and said she had to take her to see the geese.  She was quite adamant that Bug see the geese.  Littlest can’t wait until next year when she can run around and  pick out her favorite animal.   She did like looking at the little goats.  Littlest is our little observer.  She has her solemn look and watches everything.

Mommy and Daddy had fun too.  We topped off our day with a quick stop at an estate sale and treasure hunting at the Goodwill outlet.  We splurged and picked up Youskyme for dinner and finally got home in the early evening.

Somebody was cranky by the end of the day.  A 20 minute nap was not enough to get through the day - Duh!
