Littlest

My littlest one is starting to reach milestones left and right. She has rolled over on her tummy.  Now her favorite sleeping position is on her left side.  She also was able to lift her head completely up when she’s doing tummy time. She is starting to get more torso strength and can hold herself upright when sitting or you are holding her. She has the cutest smiles and is making quiet little laughing noises.  She is going to be another little talker and she seems to have plenty to say.   I love it when you look her in the eyes and she comes up with the biggest grin.   There is true love and devotion in that face.  We still can’t tell what color her eyes are.  They aren’t really a blue, they aren’t brown, not hazel…just something different, but very beautiful (of course).

Whoa - this thing has music coming from it’s belly!

Ahhhh!  You scared me.

No, Bug isn’t getting anything out of putting her mouth on the nebulizer.  It’s closed off with a piece of plastic, so only Littlest gets the mediciney goodness.

Looks like they just got into a fight and Bug is holding Littlest’s head saying, “Go ahead, take a swing!”

Friends again.

Found in my daughter’s purse

Bug was carrying around a cute little red purse last night, picking up various items and putting them in her purse. Then she would go between Daddy and I, giving us things and we would give them back and off she’d go.

Look closer at what’s in there. Do you see it? Clearly? Yup, there is a mini pad and a cover for birth control pills (and no, the pills weren’t in it) along with some giant legos and other toys.

What’s a mom to do?

There’s a new dog in town

In our house, whenever we finish a roll of toilet paper, we always throw the cardboard part out in the hallway and the dogs will race for it.   We used to take turns on which dog would get it, but then it got confusing.  Come on, really, do you think they are sitting there pouting on their missed turn?   Although sometimes it does seem like it.  Anyhow, lately, when I’ve been throwing the cardboard in the hall, I hear a laugh and some little feet running along with the dogs scrambling.  Yup, Bug has started to run with the big dogs!  She gets it every once in a while, but usually one of the dogs will get it first.   There is that rare time I’ll find that Bug has it in her mouth.   She spends way too much time being raised by wild dogs.
